3 Simple Weight Loss Tips

There is a lot of misinformation about weight loss going around. Many myths of weight loss pop up that can hinder the weight loss process. This causes people to either give up, or to keep changing what they are trying before they start losing any weight. I'm going to give you a few simple weight loss tips to help.

Simple Weight Loss Tips #1: Raise your metabolism

One of the best things you can do to start losing weight is to get your metabolism going faster. This helps your body burn more calories per day and thus more fat. You can do this by changing the number of times you eat per day. A lot of people feel they need to eat less often but that actually has the reverse effect you want on your metabolism. Eating less often slows your metabolism because the longer the time between meals, the more your body wants to store energy rather than burn it. Eating more often keeps your metabolism burning faster all day. Now that DOES NOT mean eating more calories. You just want to spread the calories out more throughout the day. A rough example would be someone trying to eat 1800 calories per day. Instead of eating 3 meals of 600 calories each, you would try to eat 6 meals of 300 calories each.

Simple Weight Loss Tips #2: Do some anaerobic exercise

Anaerobic exercises are those that focus more on strength and muscle building rather than endurance. Incorporating a strength building routine into your workout plan not only helps your body become more healthy, but adding a little more muscle helps your body to burn calories faster. Muscle cells burn around 20 times as many calories as fat cells, so adding muscle might be the best way to burn fat. Studies have shown that anaerobic exercise also has the benefit of increasing your metabolism for up to 24 hours after your workout, compared with just an increase of up to 2 hours for regular aerobic exercise such as running or swimming.

Simple Weight Loss Tips #3: Don't try to spot reduce your fat

Spot reducing your fat is when people try to lose fat on just one specific body part by only doing exercises for that body part. Such as doing tons of crunches to try to trim the fat on their belly. Our bodies do not work that way. The only way our body loses fat is when we burn more calories than we consume, and when that happens, the fat is burned evenly throughout our body. You can do all the crunches you want, but you will never see those abs unless you reduce your overall body fat.

These are just a few of the best tips for getting you started on the right path to losing weight. Following these three simple weight loss tips will help you with achieving your weight loss goals. If you want to burn even more fat than ever.

  1. The majority of the core workout tend to be about 1 hour extended, but then that they tack on yet another twenty or so minutes on an Intensive stomach muscles exercise.
